Killing My Lobster is holding auditions ___!
LOCATION: Auditions will be held at our headquarters at 2101 Folsom St, San Francisco, CA.
AUDITION DATES:
WHAT TO PREPARE: Please prepare 1 minute of anything funny. This can be a monologue, an original piece, a song, a dance, a series of impressions—if it’s funny, we want to see it!
CALLBACKS: Callbacks will take place Saturday, October 21st, between 1 and 4pm, also at KML Headquarters (2101 Folsom St, San Francisco, CA).

Actors cast in our shows are paid for the hours spent in the space (kickoff, Final Read, rehearsals, tech rehearsals, and performances) at SF minimum wage (currently $18.07/hr).

A writers' meeting for "KML: Under Pressure" Photo by James Jordan Pictures
All of KML's writers come through KML Sketch Comedy Writing 1 & 2 classes. Even if you're an experienced writer, taking these writing classes is required to be a writer at KML. We work very quickly and within particular guidelines outlined in our curriculums, and skipping them would mean starting at a great disadvantage.
Note that taking those classes does not, however, guarantee you a spot in the KML writing pool.
Over the course of a year many, many writers come through our doors and only a select few will enter our writing pool. All Sketch Writing 2 grads will receive a submission form they may fill out to be considered for KML’s writing pool.
